Hi folks,

Looking for a Giardinelli size 3 rim to match some 3D underparts I own. Would be glad to pay for the pleasure, or can trade you for a NOS 3D Remington shank (marked 88H) I own, a Giardinelli 6D, or various other things. Let's make a deal!

I have a small shank 3D with a screw rim that I'd love to trade you for the 6M.

I'd certainly be interested. I owe you an apology, though: both my Giardinelli pieces are 6Ds, which isn't the same. Editing my previous post now.

Other things I'd be willing to part with:

Schilke 51 ss, nearly new

DW 4AL, used in box

Bach MV 12c, some shank damage

Bach 5G ss, gold plated

Various other Bach 7c and 6.5AL ss pieces

If you don’t find a 3 rim, and I maybe wrong, but I believe Doug Elliott’s rims fit Giardinelli

I have a Giardinelli 5M with a plastic screw rim. I was able to screw on both a LT and MT Doug Elliott rim, although the rim-cup matchup wasn't right with either (LT too large, MT still just a little too large). The mismatch isn't too bad -- I'm able to use the MT rim and 5M underpart on my Conn 36H alto.

Thanks, guys. I'd certainly like to meet with Doug sometime for a fitting or two (tenor & bass).
