For sale is a Rath R10 tenor trombone in immaculate condition.

This was my main horn for about two years, but played mainly at home due to the pandemic. It’s very nimble and really fun to play. It’s warm and open, but brightens up when pushed. The slide shows no wear, and is smooth and fast and in great alignment.

You can see and hear the horn in action here: <YOUTUBE id="iMziRx3U7GE">https://youtu.be/iMziRx3U7GE</YOUTUBE>

The R10 has a .500” bore and a 7 ½” bell. Looks to me like this one has a yellow brass bell, yellow brass tuning slide, and silver outer slide. Please check the photos, though; I’m just giving my best opinion.

The horn also comes with a second tuning slide, in a brushed finish, and two leadpipes.

Comes a solid hardshell case that is in fine shape and very protective.

Asking $2200 plus shipping to CONUS.

Open to trades for a Shires Michael Davis ,500, or comparable B.A.C. or Lawlor jazz horns.

It’s in my possession now. I acquired it from Bob via a trade for a Lawler model 2.
