Hello! I recently got a mouthpiece called black hill. Do you have any information about this?

Greg Black's first company, with a partner in NYC. They were making mouthpieces in the mid 80's (?) for a few years. Then Greg went out on his own.

Very nice pieces. Greg Black’s original venture with his partner. I have a couple of their 5G’s, a regular and medium weight.

I’d say more Denis Wickish with a normal exterior in their design concept, especially the rims.

Jeff Hill got out of the business. The company was dissolved by mutual agreement; I heard the patterns were sold off to a third party that was supposed to continue to make then, but that never materialized. In the meantime, Greg Black developed his own line and the rest is history.

Greg will make one-off copies of the B-H pieces on request; I have a good friend who has played a B-H bass piece for years; Greg has made him a copy or two of it.
