Selling here my Conn 60H made in Elkhart. Serial number begins with M, so it‘s made in 1969.
This piece of history is in used conditions. Is plays really good with a very beautiful full dark sound which can bite if necessary. I think would love to get some cosmetic work done. It has some dings and the lacquer isn‘t good any more.
I bought it to make a 62H out of it with 2 new valves, but after some long thoughts I would regret to modificate it. It‘s all original with springs in the handslide and the original case. So I‘ll sell it on.
The handslide is in very good shape for it‘s age. Moves free and fast, no plating loss. 9.5/10 I would say.
The valve is surprisingly open and seals perfect. An absolute 10/10 allthought I would say a modern valve could improve the playibility.
