Does anyone have any idea what ''B'' on a Bach Corp. mouthpiece shank means?

I'm attaching a picture which shows it.

Many thanks.

I'm going to guess Besson euphonium shank.

I have a small shank 5G with a B stamped on. I was told that it was a Beversdorf model.

B before the beversdorf mouthpieces is for baritone. I have a small shank 3GB. But there's been a few different uses, apparently

I think Doug Elliott is correct. B for Beversdorf (as in the 5GB or 4GB after the trombonist Thomas Beversdorf) is a very rounded and narrow rim shape compared to the corresponding standard number. It makes sense for the B on the shank to denote the Besson euphonium shank.
