I apologize if this is a second post on the same trombone--I am new to posting, so am not sure that my first post went where it was supposed to go!
Trombone was purchased from Canada--hence, it is a 23 Special, not K-modified like those that were sold in the U.S.. I am uncertain as to its age--dating Selmer Paris trombones seems to be difficult if not impossible, and I suspect that it was made in the '50's or 60's based upon its serial number. Beautiful golden patina. It has the King style curved brace of a 2B. The lacquer is 95+ %, except for some lacquer loss and corrosion on the kranz (not extending to the bell) and a small area of exposed brass where it contacts the player's shoulder. I never had it professionally polished--I suspect that it could be polished and relacquered if desired. Slide is 9+/10--it will fall freely at a 30Ëšangle. There is a small area of plating loss on the stockings which has not impacted the smoothness and freedom of the slide. It has the beautiful engraving on the bell for which Selmer Paris instruments of a certain age are known, and came with a Selmer case from the 50's which is a work of art (when I bought it, the seller told me that the case alone would sell for $300!) (Good salesperson). Includes 2 Selmer Paris trombone mouthpieces (#1 and #3) which are in good shape for their age. This is a very bright sounding horn--best for jazz improvisation and solo work, and, as I am a section player (low parts) it has been played very little since I bought it (as the director of my German band banned me from bringing it to practice and gigs anymore!). I'd like to get around $600 for it, although I am willing to consider offers. I will post pictures when I am fully able to access TromboneChat, as this is only my second post to the forum!

Hi there!
Based on a PM I received regarding pricing--I may have inadvertently sent a duplicate (almost) message with a different price! So . . . to clear confusion: $500 or best offer! Thanks--Jim. Shipping may tack on a bit more--its a big case! More pictures if desired.
