Hello! I am (no longer) selling a bell for Shires Bass.
This is a stock red brass, Conn-style taper bell with a thinned bell-flare (T7). The T7 treatment makes the bell light and responsive, while still retaining the colorful characteristics of a red brass bell. It has an unsoldered bead, which makes it really play like an older Elkhart Conn. The fact that this is a Shires bell makes it quite special. I really enjoyed the bell and found it super fun to play, though my other bells are yellow brass so this bell was not for me.
I purchased the bell from another member here on Trombone Chat. I've kept the bell in the same condition as I received it. There are a few minor scuffs, and the lacquer is in good condition. There are no dents that I've noticed.
I am selling this bell for $800. PayPal preferred. Let me know if you have any questions!

Bump! I am also taking trade offers, particularly interested in Shires Bass Bells or Valve Sections (would offer cash in addition to bell if you had a valve section, of course).

Bump, still for sale. Open to all / any offers! This is a great bell, it just isn't for me. Would love to see it go to a good home...
