This 1961 Conn 72H (#942xxx) Bass Trombone ain’t too pretty — it has plenty of cosmetic issues — but it’s really a great player — particularly for big band jazz.

The Slide Section: It has typical Conn stocking wear, hand hold wear, and some other dings.... No matter... The slide plays just fine and fast.
The Bell Section: The Bell has dings. The F-Attachment operates and plays just fine. The tuning slides operate smoothly. BTW, I mostly played this horn with the F-Attachment slide pulled out to E, making the low C playable in 6th.....
This was my first bass trombone when I first started doubling. The horn is pretty much in the same condition as when I got it. I gigged with this horn in a big band for about 10 years. It’s a good player.
Behind the horn it has good tone.
In front of the horn audience and band members have complimented the horn’s tone.
$800 plus shipping
Thanks, Lee

For that price, I could almost justify owning 3 72Hs. Great price!

If you could wait a couple of months, I'd be very interested, but the cash flow is a bit of an issue right now. ;)

First time posting on this forum so not sure if I'm doing things correctly. I am interested in buying your Conn 72H, how do I go about making this happen?
