FS: King 2B valve trombone. Bell is a mid 60's 2N Liberty that is very clean and bright. Valve section is 80s manufacture, clean, and the receiver pipe has been "dizzy'd" up for better ergonomics and more comfortable placement (mine that is; easy for you to change back if you prefer, not a major operation). Excellent player. Hard or soft case available. $1000 shipped CONUS. Email with questions. 7.5 slide with matching serial to the bell is also available for a reasonable added cost.

Hello! (1) is this still available? (2) would you consider selling the valve section separately? Thank you!

Upgrade: The King 2B valve section (70s) is now mounted to a King 2B silver sonic bell (late 60s better match) and is consigned to The Brass Exchange. You can see the package here:

Yes, Tom, it is, and it really makes a difference since most of them available second hand are really considerably less tweaked specifically for a valve player. Brass Exchange has three moderately priced ones (Reynolds, Getzen, Yamaha) for anyone wanting to get into the valve zone for the first time. This is a horn for somebody who really wants the max out of the instrument. I decided to go that route and get it in top shape after being lowballed a zillion times. I'm mostly a slide player in my old age but if you really want to play bebop or rock/blues horn section this is your axe.
