Hello, my friend! Could you help me? I working on my PhD and need only some part of the book, so I don`t want to buy it only for some pages. Could you send me this book to my email?
.

Not to jump in uninvited, but... if you are working on your PhD, then surely you're studying at a University that has a library. Go to your library (or its website) and look into Interlibrary Loan (or whatever it may be called in your home country/language). If any other library has a copy of the material you need, they are usually willing to lend it out on interlibrary loan. This would be much preferred to asking someone to potentially violate copyright law.

The best way to find out if other libraries near you have a copy of the material is by looking it up on WorldCat. Here is the listing for "The Trombone" by Trevor Herbert:

<LINK_TEXT text="https://www.worldcat.org/title/trombone ... ef_results">https://www.worldcat.org/title/trombone/oclc/1007305405&referer=brief_results</LINK_TEXT>

If you enter your location, it will show the closest libraries that have a copy. Your library's interlibrary loan staff will know what to do.

I used this system many times when I was working on my DMA. Our university library had an online request form to fill out.

Good luck in your studies!

I’m happy to scan a few pages for you, as part of academic license. But I think calcbone’s suggest is the best route. Herbert’s The Trombone is essential reading for people specializing in academic questions related to the trombone and its history.

Let me know via private message or email if I can help.
