I've currently got a Yamaha 891Z (508) and a Bach 42A (547) in my stable and I'm looking to buy a sub .500 bore horn used.

I've tried 2Bs in the past and have enjoyed them but I'm open to anything that has a similar character.

I've got a nice '37 King Liberty, .486 single bore, 73/8 bell, great original lacquer with a nice slide. I sent you a PM.

I have a nice Holton 65 (.491) if you want excellent silver plate and enough sound power to peel paint! Good price too. Shoot me an IM.

Hello. I know you are looking for sub .500. However, I still wanted to let you know that I have a very unique Conn 6H from 1961 that I would be willing to sell. It has been customized by BAC in Kansas City. This horn is raw brass satin finish, light weight slide (converted at BAC), ergonomic grip, the neck pipe was upgraded to copper. <LINK_TEXT text="https://www.austincustombrass.biz/one-o ... zed-slide/">https://www.austincustombrass.biz/one-of-a-kind-beautiful-vintage-1961-conn-6h-with-bac-customized-slide/</LINK_TEXT>

This thread seems to have become a bulletin board for folks selling small-bore tenors.

Some great-looking examples have appeared. :good:

I wonder if Lifelongobsession is still interested? No word from him/her since April 4.

Still contemplating all the great available options, I guess.
