Edwards B1 Sterling Silver Leadpipe for sale.

Condition: It is in excellent condition. No dents that I can see or feel along the entire leadpipe. Only damage is on the collar from when it was stuck in my slide and I used a pair of pilers covered with a rag to get it unstuck.

This leadpipe has been shortened to about 8 inches in length. I contacted Edwards and they told me these are about 10.25 inches long from the factory. It was shorten before I owned it.

Contacted Edwards and confirmed this was cut shorter at some point. These are 10.25in - 10.5in according to Edwards.

This motivated to sell, make me an offer!

I have a similar pipe and was told it was a Dave Taylor pipe. There are no markings to indicate as such though so I can't prove my pipe is a Dave Taylor pipe, nor could I prove that yours is... but could be something to note one way or the other. FWIW, I really like mine on bass whether it is a shortened B1SS, a Dave Taylor, or otherwise.

That would make sense, to me it didn't look like it was cut but that could just have been a tech doing a good job.

Any chance you would swap it for some standard brass Edwards bass leadpipes? I have a few spare B3 pipes.

Unfortunately not, I've tried all the standard brass Edwards and shires pipes and didn't like them over this. I'm actually using a bach 50 pipe I had my tech put a collar on now.

Fair enough. I’ve always been curious to try the SS B1 (I have a few SS B3s and a SS B2) but I’m not looking to spend the cash right now.

GLWS!
