Here’s a 57 or 58 Constellation 48h that is unique and the only one that I’ve ever owned and I’ve only seen one here on the chat for sale like it. It’s like a silver sonic bone in the nickel silver bell on the outer but a gold wash inner. The slide is in great shape and is a 48h LW. There is a spot of beginning conn ware, but this slide is lightening fast.
The bells design has it stand out compared to other 48s in that it’s crisper and easy to make it speak. Meaning articulating and volume seems to be what this horn can do. But speaks well in soft tones and blows through all partials and registers. No dents on this horn and the laquer is 99% original and in tact. This was goin to be a keeper for me, but finances have said other wise. Comes in after market newer conn case. $1250
