It's not listed on their site, but I saw a honey of a DEG valve bone locally for $400 at https://www.bluestobach.com/. You might call the owner, Jeff, and see if he's willing to ship.

FYI - I've been keeping my eyes open for one myself...and the good ones seem to be in demand and don't go cheap. My solution: I just purchased an inexpensive Chinese "refurbished," and I'm having a tech make some modifications (around $125) to reinforce, improve balance, and change the receiver to fit one of my American horns. If you can find any good American model at a reasonable price, TAKE IT!

There is/was a Blessing horn on Music Go Round's site for $599. I got my Olds off Reverb for about $400, IIRC. Not the cleanest repair job, but functional. Deals are out there if you're resourceful and patient.

The used trombone market is extremely hit-or-miss: high demand for an item might only be two or three bidders.
Dave Wilson has one listed on his website:

(In retrospect, THIS is the horn I should've bought...)

Good luck!
That King 2b combo for $950 sounds like a steal from a retail seller! The Bach... not sure I'd pay $1k for that unless I tried it in person and it was really a nice horn. You'd have a hard time getting your money back there.

I always found the cheaper ones disappointing, with the exception of an occasional good Reynolds or Getzen. I played these a lot when I was younger and after parting ways with several Conns found the King 2B version the best. You can occasionally find them for about $1000. If you see a good one at that price jump on it, you won't be disappointed. I maxed mine out with a 2B silver sonic bell and ergonomic modification. It's worth $2K and I know that it way out of the park for anyone except a player really into this kind of horn. It didn't sell here on TC --not surprising-- and is consigned to Brass Exchange. <LINK_TEXT text="https://www.thebrass-exchange.com/conte ... e-trombone">https://www.thebrass-exchange.com/content/king-2b-silversonic-valve-trombone</LINK_TEXT>

Doug also has several at half that price - a Yamaha, Getzen, and Reynolds.

TY Everyone.AS I said it was for a Euph student.

THey made a deal with someone here for a Couesnon.

It looked like a nice quality horn and the price was right.

Silver Plated,The valve tubing is an open wrap design, 8"bell.Bore ...close to.500

The best one I ever played was a Conn 5G valve section mated with a Williams 8 Bell

I didn't need or use it so I traded the valves for a Williams 6 bell section.

So now I have a Williams 8 with an additional 6 bell section and a collection of Williams, Herrick and Gary Greenhoe pipes.

Besides for that I find the 5G's excellent Valve Trombones as are the Kings.

Same valve section for the 2 and 3B's

Not to forget the Conn Trombonium

Now I have a Yamaha Marching Baritone 10" Bell, 570 BORE and takes a large Shank.

Nice FLUGELBONE.........FOR A BASS TROMBONIST ANYWAY. Very Front Heavy tho.............
