Hello,

it‘s a shot in the dark, but if anyone wants to sell his Williams Model 10 basstrombone I‘m very interested in it.

Shoot me a pm if want to sell one<EMOJI seq="1f642" tseq="1f642">🙂</EMOJI>

For what I've heard there were only twelve of those ever made so, yes it might be a shot in the dark.

The one on eBay and discussed in this thread:

has been up for a bit and had come down in price a bit.

It isn‘t an all-original Williams 10 by any means but perhaps there‘s a bit more room for negotiation also, he‘s allowing offers it seems.

I saw that a while ago and is not what I‘m looking for. Too much parts are not original, so not my cup of tea. Plus still too expensive

I hear you, the listed price is still a bit steep for my pockets too, considering the mix of parts, but it‘s starting to move towards a region where a deal could be possible if a nice tax rebate came my way or something…wishful thinking I‘m afraid

Massimo, that's the one already mentioned. Nothing made by Earl. There is one that may come to the market...it was offered to me a few years ago at a price I couldn't justify. I am not in a position to say more.

The OP seems to think that many of the world's rarest and most desirable trombones are just waiting to be bought. I only ever had one Conn Fuchs bass offered to me through a friend. I snapped it up at the asking price and I'm not selling. It's sitting in front of me next to my Minick valved 62H...and that's going nowhere too. It's a long hard search
