1963 Conn Director 18H
This old Conn but plays well, but could use a little TLC.
The slide is 7/10, it moves quick and smooth, but it does make quiet scratchy sounds around 5th-7th positions. There is one dent in the slide (does not affect performance), and you can see a little bit of plating worn off the inner stockings in the photos.
The outer slide just barely grazes the slide lock while in use, it makes a 'tick' sound when going into 1st position. This could be easily repaired by a slide shop, or you can simply remove the slide lock.
The neck of the bell section looks dented/hammered, and you can see that one of the stanchions has been tweaked from an accident. I did my best to capture all the dents/flaws in photos, but they don't show up well because the copper bell is so reflective.
I paid $400 for this horn a couple of months ago. (Its condition was not described accurately) I found that I prefer playing my coprion 12H so I decided against restoring this 18H.
Comes with this old ProTec style case, well worn but functional. The Conn case that came with this trombone smells strongly of bad perfume and I intend to dispose of it unless a buyer specifically requests it. The trombone still smells faintly of the old Conn case and will need a bath.

bump!
Thinking of taking this in for some repairs or lowering price to get it sold. Worried if I repair it I will want to keep it.
