***SOLD***
Getting rid of my Conn stable:
1952 Conn 4H in great condition, yellow brass w/ nice patina, 7-inch bell. Technically a “peashooter,” but plays MUCH bigger than its specs. A great horn for someone who normally plays larger gear, but has gigs that call for something smaller. Completely clean inner slide which is EXTREMELY rare for Conn trombones of this vintage. I would give the slide action a conservative 8.5 right now, but I know I can get it up to at least a 9 before shipping. Some lacquer loss at contact points, a little on outer slide and a small ring at top of bell stem. As a project, I initially had a Williams 4 bell mounted to this, but switched everything back to the original configuration (all work expertly done at J. Landress Brass, NYC). Original Conn guarantee card and key to the case included! Case is also in great shape.
$800 shipped to the Continental US. I originally paid more for this horn+the counterweight purchased separately. Anyhow, I enjoyed the response more with the weight).
