**SOLD**

Getting rid of my Conn Stable:

1926 Conn 4H in gold plate with stunning engraving (pretty girl in dress, high heels and sun hat carrying a bucket, flowers up the bell stem and modern etching around the flare). Great condition, 7-inch bell, .485 bore, big, beautiful sound. Slide action is approximately a conservative 7.5-8, I’m working on it, it’s running extremely well for being almost 100 yrs old. Two pin sized spots of “Conn wear” at the tip of the inner slide stockings, tried to capture in the photos, but it’s very hard to see.

A spot of plating loss where the brace meets the bell stem from work done there. Small spot of plating loss on gooseneck as well. Lastly, this horn originally had a pressure-fit connection between the slide and bell section. I had J. Landress Brass, NYC outfit the tenon with threads, so now the bell section and slide screw together, allowing for plunger/solotone/Harmon mute work without fear of dropping the instrument.

Horn originally came without a counterweight, but I tracked one down that is period appropriate and also matches.

Case is original, but is currently being held together by electrical tape, thoughts and prayers.

Anyhow, treat yo self!
