Absolutely stunning alto sackbut made by Meinl Lauber in the 1960s after the original Nagel sackbut. Traditional flat slide stays with snake clasps. This alto is interesting in that it is in the key of F, but the slide crook comes off and can be swapped for an Eb crook. No tuning slide, after the original. There is a similar Meinl and Lauber alto sackbut in the Smithsonian collection. In current configuration the alto is in F440, with Eb crook to Eb465 and neckpipe extension to Eb440 (places the bell around 2nd position). Price is $3500 with case. We can modify this alto on request to Eb440 (for an additional fee). Sold as is. Buyer pays shipping and any paypal fees.
