Super nice playing King 2B in great shape. Serial number 399xxx, so circa 1960-1965. Very good cosmetic condition for its age, lacquer still mostly present throughout, no major dents. Just had it in the shop, a couple of dings that were causing a hang in the slide were removed and the horn was ultrasonically cleaned. Now the slide moves great, and there is no visible wear on the inners.

YMMV, but I sound better on this horn than most small bores I've played, has a clear yet velvety sound. Easy to play, for me everything just seems to pop throughout all registers.

I do not have the original case. I can ship it without a case (my preferred method, my experience is the most common shipping damage is the bell hitting the inside of the case when the package is jostled), or I can include a a cheap Conn case (looks like its from an old Conn Director). It will be packed very well, so even with the case I am sure it will be safe.

$745 shipped CONUS.

That's a fine looking horn, but I'm not looking for trades.
