Up for sale is my Bach 50A3 Bass Trombone. I purchased this as a demo/open box horn (it still had the warranty card, cleaning rod, and the care materials when I got it) a few months back to get me through the second half of orchestra season to replace my trusty Conn 73H (also for sale!)

As best as I can tell, this horn is in completely perfect condition with the exception of a few lacquer blemishes on the top outer tube, near the crook (I did a close up in the pictures, but it is hard to get them to show up). Otherwise no lacquer wear, no dents, great slide.

This horn plays fantastically. It's my first experience with Hagmann valves and for me they feel like a great compromise between rotors and Thayers (I don't seem to have the chops to play on a dual Thayer bass, I feel like I'm standing at the event horizon of an airflow black hole every time I play one). I played it for two concert cycles. I'm taking the opportunity during the summer break to sell it and replace it with a more Conn-ish setup (but bigger than my 73H); have always been a Conn guy on tenor, I suppose I am on bass as well.
