I used this horn during college and I’m ready to let it go. This horn is in mint condition and it’s great for lead or section playing in jazz bands. I also used it in the combos I played.
This horn has a great tone, the lacquer is in really good shape, and the slide is as well. The inner slide has no signs of wear and the outer slide has no dents and whatever you put in (trombotine or Slide-o-Mix) it’ll feel super smooth.
This horn had a special water key put in after the original fell off as you can see in the pics.
The serial number of this horn is 299xxx which puts it around 1945 - 1950.
I’ll sell it with a reunion blues bag (China version) in really decent shape.
Reach out if you have any questions and for pictures of this horn.
