I’ve been cycling through the material on my trombone shelf for a couple of weeks now and I found my Louis Maggio book (Carlton Macbeth). Has anyone spent time on the Maggio approach and, if so, what was your experience?

I dipped my toe in a few years ago and, I recall, was pleased with the results, but I didn’t stick with it. I am approaching it this time keeping in mind what Doug E told me about mpc placement. So far, so good.
