Crazy question….Does anyone know who played Trombone incidental music on the Love Boat series around 1978-9. The playing is sooo tasty in the moonlight scenes on deck.

Just a guess— but it’s probably Dick Nash

With all the good TV shows on now, why is anybody watching reruns of the Love Boat?

I suppose film buffs might watch it to see "Golden Age" stars in the twilight of their careers, or maybe the odd "before they were stars" appearance.

I got curious and ran into a list of 32 Oscar® winners who made appearances on the show.
