Up for sale a mint JP Rath 236 Alto trombone. This is the better of the 2 alto models JP Rath sells. This was actually designed by Rath. I like the quality of the instrument and the sound; however, I am the proverbial old dog and alto is the proverbial new trick. I have only played it about 2 dozen times, and it has no cosmetic flaws that would show up on a picture. It comes with a JP Packer 12C mouthpiece, but the only marking is "12C". I would like to get $685 plus actual shipping cost (or meet in central PA). We could also negotiate on a Mt Vernon Bach 15C mouthpiece I often used with it if you are interested. The extra mouthpiece has no major dings and plays nicely, but is not a looker with areas of plating wear-through.
