If it were almost anywhere else on the planet, yes!

We had tickets and everything for Osaka 2020... we all know how that went.

I'll be there presenting a solo recital on the 15th at 11 am! A new book of Etudes by Alice Jones in the tradition of the French etude books, with an updated and modern perspective, as well as Quinn Mason's Horn Sonata (of which I was honored to premiere on trombone a few years ago.)

Too far out in the boonies for me. Either a 12 hour drive or $1,000+ on flights and car rentals. I did get a chance to be at STS a couple of weeks ago as a videographer and got to hear a lot of great players.

Still bitter about that. Literally the only year I could have attended, as it is always right up against the 4th of July every year, and was in Japan....

I'll be there. Unfortunately, I've got to leave Saturday morning so I won't be able to catch the exhibitors concert. :frown:

There is an online only option. Registration is $80 for ITA members, $20 more ($100) for non-members. (There are additional processing fees.)

I would love to go, but I have too many back to back business trips this year.

I really need to be there because I have to get a mouthpiece for one of my antique 4-valves and it's impossible to find anybody that even understands what I need. Sometimes more can be done in 5 minutes in person that 400 emails and zoom meetings can do in a year.

Next year for sure I'll be there.

Any idea where it will be in 23? I know it is supposed to be the International festival, so I suspect somewhere outside the USA.

First time Chuck's has had a booth at ITF as far as I know.... Bringing any of the new Schmelzers? I know he's not coming this year.

I'm hoping either Dusseldorf or Colone so I can go for free on the company's dime :). That's wishful thinking however. I haven't seen anywhere if they have selected a location for 2023. I would love to have gone to Arkansas this year because it's not terribly far (all things considered), but it's just not in the cards for this year.

It is the first time ever!

Manfred sent us a Model 1 (.500"), Model 2 (.508"), and a Model 5 Bass with open flow valves. They are all top notch players too. The bass is really great and punches well above its price point.

I have tested positive for COVID today. The ITF is too soon for me to consider going. I am grateful to Doug for the heads up.

I’ll be there. In fact I’ll be bringing along a lot of gear I’d like to sell.

Yes, take care of yourself, and sorry you have to miss ITF. The pandemic isn't over. People are still catching the newer variants.

Curious... did anyone here do the online version the previous year? [EDIT] What actually is included for those who can't make it in person?

I think you get live streamed and archived video of all the major concerts.

Yes, I saw that but wondered if anyone has actually participated online. Obviously, in-person is ideal, but is there any engagement/participation/activity for those watching online?

I'll be going as it's very conveniently located. I think I'll go Thursday and Friday only though. I'm in the market for a new instrument as mine was stolen from my vehicle last month.
