I've been toldconflicting things about these. As best I can tell, these are brass and nickel plated. In either case, they're a touch on the heavy side. The tuning slide bow is new, directly from from King. I was originally going to put my 605F valve on this. Or something. I didn't have a good plan for this. As it turns out, after a little work, the 605F I have is really good. The quality on 'student' horns back 60 years ago really is surprisingly good... At any rate, my wife thinks I have too many instruments so... well, here this goes.

I can try to give this a satin finish but I've never tried nickel plating (or nickel?) before so I might not be able to get a satisfactory finish.

Hi! I'm interested in this bell section - do you know if this is the one that mates up with 2B or 3B slides? I know between the 2 generations, they each work with a slightly different slide. Thanks!

I have a 2B valve section that mates perfectly with my Nickel tempo bell.
