Thanks.

[url=http://james-r-new.com/]Jim New, to the best of my knowledge, has all of the schematics for making the Kanstul catalogue as he was making them for them prior to them closing their doors. I was looking for Kanstul B2P trumpet & cornet mouthpieces for a few months and was able to have him just make them for me, new. I think the quality is a little higher too, although they're more expensive than Kanstul was chargin. On the "P" series trumpet ones, they seem to have just used a drill to get the 18 throat so there's a bit of a "ledge" but when I got the B2P from Jim, it was smooth. Might be your only shot at getting one of these!

I have worked with Jim New on developing my mouthpiece line and from our conversations he should have everything needed to reproduce the CL45.

Also you may want to have a look at our MST STUDIO M N (<LINK_TEXT text="https://www.mst-studio-mouthpieces.com/ ... mall-bore/">https://www.mst-studio-mouthpieces.com/shop/mst-studio-m-n-small-bore/</LINK_TEXT>) which is of course not a direct copy, but shares a lot of key characteristics. Manufactured by Jim New - as said very high quality production.

Thank you both for your suggestions.

If I can't find an original, it's good to know a repro is a possible option!

A few years before Kanstul closed I bought one of these-- nice piece! They were selling them cheap-- wish I had bought a couple! I believe BAC in Kansas City bought some of the Kanstul equipment when they closed-- might be worth a phone call to them to see if they happen to have any.
