...over on the Facebook version, tons of members here are getting a message that they have been permanently banned from here due to spam.

This is the message:

They are not able to contact admin unless logged in.

Can this be resolved somehow?

Yes, as Bruce noted I believed the issue was fixed (nobody reported the error after I switched captcha providers). The email provided (<EMAIL email="trombonechat@mailfence.com">trombonechat@mailfence.com</EMAIL>) can be used as a method of reporting inaccessibility now if you are having issues still.
