Got the valves ported. And a brace removed.

How did it affect the sound?

Both valves are indeed ported, so the heavy caps helped stabilize the sound lower end I immediately noticed. Took a brace off since it detached any how. Haven't done anything with out the rotor caps. Man this horn is no longer a choking point. He did amazing work to these valves!!!
