Hi Everyone!

Today I have two very special mouthpieces for sale. I'm looking to sell my Symington 1.5 and 2 in Zirconium. I'm selling because I need some cash and no longer can play on this size.

I've also cross-posted these on Facebook. If you're on any of the usual groups you'll see my post there. I definitely suggest reaching out to me through Facebook. I'll respond quicker there.

So onto how they play! ZR is an amazing metal and I hope more makers continue to experiment with it. Hypoallergenic. Has some of the same sound qualities of steel but responds more closely to brass. Very expensive but worth every penny! These pieces play like Mount Vernon pieces but without the hassle of trying to track down an example in good condition.

Mouthpieces were well loved and taken care of. Price includes shipping in the U.S.

Symington 1.5 ZR - $250. Great example of a Symington 1.5. I've owned and played over 5 of these mouthpieces in brass and ZR and this was my favorite. Note this particular example is a early version (first couple of batches) which has a slimmer shank. The shank has a deeper insertion depth and will bottom out in larger receivers like Yamaha or Holton. I would recommend using plumber tape for a snug fit and correct insertion depth.

Symington 2 ZR - $250. My pride and joy. I provided Bill with the MV2G that he used as the base for this copy. This was from the first batch of 2 series pieces. Amazing example and my favorite of around 3 or 4 I played. Has Bill's newer Morse taper shank which has the correct fit.

Please let me know if you have any questions! I will consider offers but my prices are relatively firm. Retail prices for these mouthpieces have gone up significantly over the years and these rarely pop up for sale used!

Thanks!
