The number of horns somehow keep increasing over time... So it's time to move one along to make room for more!

This 36b is really really fun to play. If I were to own just one horn, I would honestly keep this. I kind of see the hype and how this may be considered the "ideal" trombone. Really nice dense Bach sound. Easy to play. Even across the whole horn. Can hide as a large bore and act as a small.

That said, I'm fortunate to have a number of horns that cover everything this one can. So I don't really see myself ever using this outside of practicing and for fun.

Serial number is 20xxx. Guessing it's a 1976 hot but might be late 1975?

Slide action isn't bad! Action is probably an 8.5/10. When dry, it has a bit of sound but quiet when lubed up. Smooth action with no hang ups.

Tuning slides are good. Move as they should.

Valve is surprisingly easy to play on. No real issues here. Has the older linkage but with the hetmans 15 on the linkage and 12 on the rotor, it's quiet and smooth. Nothing out of whack on this horn.

Lacquer wear as you would expect from a horn that has been used. Most of the wear is on contact points.

Dents: It's been around and has many little dings. Mostly in the bell. No crinkles or sharp dents though, so it'll be easy for dent work to be done without much effort and scarring. No dents to really worry about. There is a small ping in the f attachment tuning slide crook and a small dent in the tuning slide. All cosmetic, the horn plays great as is.

Case is the pictured french style case. I'm assuming it was covered again at some point. And a strap added on the inside. Has the original lyre as well. I've got some brand new Gewa options if you'd like a modern case for extra (my wife's violin repair shop is a gewa dealer and we got some trombone cases in as well).

$1300 USD and I'll cover shipping to Canada/USA. Horn is located in East Coast Canada.

I had a similar vintage Corp 36b and still sometimes regret selling it. Great horns, but I don't have the room for two midbores right now...
