Hello, I’m selling this Yamaha alto trombone as I have recently got a rath with a Bb valve and TIS. This is a YSL-673 which is similar to the really popular YSL-671. This trombone differs from the 671 because it has a slightly larger bore (.484-.500”) and has a gold brass bell. This one is silver plated and as far as I know that was done at the factory. The plating is still in great condition despite this horn being made from 1994-1997 (those were the only years the 673’s were made). This alto is easy to swap to from tenor thanks to the large bore but still has a brilliant alto sound due to the silver plating. This horn plays really well in tune (my professor says so) and the slide moves great. I wish I didn’t have to sell it but I cannot afford two professional level altos right now.
