Up for sale is a King Liberty 2B which I stripped the lacquer on and brush finished late last year. Since then, it has developed a light patina. This horn is in excellent condition with a clean and fast slide. No wear on inner platings and the slide is in alignment. This horn was last sonic cleaned in December 2021.
Includes the original King counterweight which I left the lacquer finish on. Great player, has that classic 2B zip but also easy to play light and beautiful ballads with ease.
Serial number 356XXX dates the horn to sometime between 1956 and 1960, per the Conn-Selmer website.
I am happy to polish and rebrush the horn to the buyer if they desire. I left it as is since it was originally done and the patina has some spots here and there. See the photos to see what it looks like freshly brushed.
