Anyone have an idea how I can get ahold of a second valve slide for a Holton bass trumpet model T 180? Yellow brass, circa 1966. Thought I'd ask before taking apart the heating duct that mine fell into....don't ask...

Might be a normal trumpet part, just twice as long. Might not the be the hardest thing to make if it's normal size tubing

Someone does... or more accurately, someone has a pair of calipers somewhere :)

A handyman will extract the little bugger from the heating duct tomorrow. I want to keep the horn all original.

Certainly cheaper than a stock vintage. And maybe they’ll find a diamond ring you can sell for the next horn.

Thanks, nice thought but no diamond ring. The little fella is back in place on valve 2.
