Here is a mint-condition Yamaha YSL-684G trombone. Gold brass bell, "semi-open" wrap F-attachment, medium-bore (.525), yellow brass outer slide tubes and slide crook. This model was Yamaha's medium-bore horn from 1985 to 2005. This one has barely been played. Looks and functions like a new horn. Slide is great, valve is smooth and silent, and tuning slides all glide nicely. And it PLAYS like it should - fantastic! Original case is in excellent shape, if a bit scuffed on the outside; new on the inside.
$1600 gets it to your door anywhere in the US. I can take PP, Venmo, credit card, or cash in an envelope.

What’s your opinion on the sound of this horn compared to a Bach 36b?

Brighter, more colorful, more flexible. Less warm and less chocolately. Much easier to play!
