I always wanted to hear Watrous play some trad jazz, never thought it would happen, but I just stumbled across this from the Dick Cavett show - - Looks to me like some Cavett Show band members (?) led by Bobby Rosengarden on drums backing up Woody Allen. Can anybody name the other guys?

Watrous was roommates in his up and coming days and lifelong friends with Roswell Rudd, the great avant/Dixieland player, I’m sure he picked up a thing or two from Rudd, and vice versa.

Thanks, I enjoyed that. I'm not sure I've ever heard him play that low or that loud!!! :idea:
