A local guitarist had his rare and unusual Gibson guitar stolen recently. In a fluke of bad timing his insurance had just lapsed.
Tonight I see there is a GFM to help him replace the lost guitar. The goal is $16,000 (CDN).
I was rather taken aback. $16K for a guitar seems like a lot.I was happy to chip in but my impression was that the GFM organizers were taking advantage of people’s generosity.
