Hi All,

The title says a lot- does anyone have a favorite tech or builder to make a plug in valve for a Bach 50? I’m a fair weather bass player who rarely needs the second valve, and love the corp 50 I play without wanting to change much… So, open to suggestions!

Be aware that it isn't as simple as just making the drop in valve. The existing F loop needs to be adjusted as well. There is not enough space between the main tuning slide and the F tuning slide for the added rotor to fit.

Ok thanks! First of all Matthew is correct above! I’m not familiar with any DC area techs but there are a few NYC folks, Josh Landress and Terry Pierce, as well as Scott Sweeney in South Carolina(I think). Look for them on the internet.

You might want to contact crazytbone86 on the forums here. I can’t vouch for his work yet because of delays in parts availability but he’s in MD (DCish) and by all accounts I’ve heard of, does very good work.

MBurner, please check your inbox. I provided you some DC-area contacts if you prefer to keep it local. Good luck!
