Rath R3F
Nickel silver bell and slide
Red brass tuning slide
Standard leadpipe
$2,700/€2,700 +shipping from Europe
Mint yellow brass gooseneck with counter weight
$300/€300 +shipping from Europe
(I'd prefer to sell the gooseneck together with the horn but will sell separately if the buyer doesn't want the gooseneck.)
I bought this R3F directly from the Rath factory in 2012 and have enjoyed playing this horn very much. The reason I’m selling it is because I’ve converted over to carbon fiber so this horn hasn’t been used for the past year and a half. I had the brace in the F attachment removed by the Rath factory, which opened up the resonance, especially in the low trigger range. The valve is excellent and I oiled after every time I played. The slide action is very good, 9/10, never damaged and I kept it clean.
There is some wear at the contact points. There’s a very small dent in the slide bow and some scuffing of the lacquer on the F attachment tuning slide. There is also a small dent in the bell. All of these are cosmetic and I’ve tried to show them clearly in the photos.

That's a great deal. If I was on the look out for a tenor I would definitely snap it up!
Good luck with the sale!!
