I’ve got a Selmer bolero with F attachment paired with a Shires dual bore .508 - .525 slide with gold brass outer tubes and a nickel crook. It’s in really good condition, bell is from 60s/70s i tuning and in really nice condition, slide is in really great condition too around a 9/10 action wise. This is an amazing 3rd part in a big band, or some powerhouse soloing. The bell is on the heavy end and with the dual bore slide it can really handle some volume. This is an amazing horn and i love using this for solos when i’ve been playing bass for a whole gig, very comfortable to switch between. Don’t really want to sell this but i have my eyes on something. Horn is very clean, valve works great and the paddle is really comfortable. I will post pictures later tonight

Was this the Bolero with the Shires slide that was listed her a year or two ago? Man, I really wanted to try that horn. I fortunately & unfortunately have picked up a 79h since then and probably will never know how it blows.
If it is the same horn, I was interested in it when it was last listed and the description and pictures made it sound & look like an awesome horn.

Yes it is, i felt the same exact way and somehow tracked down the person who bought it. I had so many regrets not buying and and i’m so glad i had the chance to play in it for a year or so. I’m moving on and passing this, if you’re serious send me a PM and we can work something out.
