Up for sale is a trombone with many origins- it's a Bach LT42BO copy, made by Courtois for an American import company.
Nowadays these are sold simply as the Courtois AC280, but for a time they were imported as Gerhard Baier trombones into the US. As I said above, they are a very faithful copy of the Bach 42BO (with lightweight nickel slide), even down to the trigger paddle.
These are good horns, better than the average 42BO and a bit quicker responding due to the nickel slide. The valve is also better made than most Bachs.
This would make a great high school or college instrument for someone looking to move into a large bore tenor, or as a double. If I weren't borrowing a 42AFG I would just use it myself!
Some scrapes, some dings, but slide is good and valve is fine as well.
$800 with case, plus shipping
