FS: Getzen 1047 large-bore trombone **SOLD**

Here is a great playing Getzen 1047 Bb/F trombone. Large-bore (.547), open-wrap F-attachment, yellow brass bell, and modern trigger/ergonomics. Slide is yellow brass with a nickel-silver crook. Slide action is excellent! Valve is smooth and silent with good compression. Tuning slides all work well. I can see that this horn had an "incident" where the valve area was damaged. Everything was straightened out and spot lacquered, and a supportive brace added. I am always suspicious of horns that have been damaged in this area. But, in this case, the valve works perfectly and so does the trigger, etc. Still, I have lowered the price to reflect this. This would be an *ideal* horn for a HS student or adult player looking for an F-att horn. A very fine player!
Comes in original case in good shape - it does have take one impact on the bell-end of case, but it doesn't affect how the case works.

Probably the best bargain available on TromboneChat! Greenbean finds and resells fine trombones, always in great condition, but this one seems exceptional. If I had a need, I'd purchase it immediately!
