I acquired this Corp. 42B back in the spring from the widow of a career Navy Band player.
The blow is quintessential Bach: very tight slotting, secure in all registers, and a rich, dark sound.
The horn has lacquer wear and scratches typical of a lifetime of professional use.
The tuning crooks and slide crook are exceptionally clean, with no dents and no signs of dent removal.
Multiple dents and creases were burnished out of the first few inches of the flare over the course of it's life, but the rim wire is still round and true, and there are no signs of damage or repair in the bell stem.
The slide is exceptional, 8.5-9/10, with no signs of repair and completely intact chrome on the inners.
Includes original case in serviceable condition.
Price is $1450 shipped to CONUS only.
Thanks for having a look.
