Tentatively posting my horn up for trade as my interests have shifted and I'm primarily playing for fun these days. This is not for sale.
Here's the breakdown:
Bell - 2YLWT8 - This was relabeled to the Colin Williams bell later on. 2-Piece lightweight unsoldered bead, thinned at the flare.
Slide - T47LW - BrassArk 8H seamed rose brass leadpipe
Tuning Slide - TYS - Yellow Seamed
Valve - Standard Rotor
Case - SF Reunion Blues Red Leather Bag
Everything across the horn is a solid 8/10. The slide could benefit being looked at by a professional, but it's got great action as is. The bell was dented after it fell while in the case, but it was repaired within the hour by Terry Pearce in NYC who happened to be across the street at the time of the accident. The f attachment tuning slide was never lacquered from the factory. The bell has some lacquer missing from a bath that got a bit too hot and steamy :shuffle:
Happy to provide pics, may just post them here later too.
I'm looking for some flavor of a nice 88H. Be that Elkhart, Lindberg, Greenhoe, or something in between those. This horn is already plays very close to that, but I'm really craving that vintage feel these days. Please reach out if this sounds interesting to you. Email or PM is great. Thanks!

If this is still available, please email me. I have a 1926 silver 8H that might tempt you.

It now has a lock ring (was friction fit originally) and a standard taper mouthpiece receiver.
Lovely tone.
