A Holton 69 professional model jazz trombone, overall condition is good but there is wear to the finish, signs of repair, and discoloration to the lacquer, especially on the bell section. Currently has no dents, but it will not win any beauty contests.
It plays well, IMO, and has an easy upper register. I have been using it for the past several months when I teach.
Although I have had the slide aligned at Dillons and keep it clean, the slide is OK with Trombotine but not great. Playable, yes, but my Bach slides are faster and smoother. It especially sticks in 7th position. There are a few small spots of smooth plating wear on the inner stockings. Overall I would rate it a 7/10.
$300. plus shipping from NJ 08620. I'll cover the PayPal.
Include non-original generic case in good condition. It fits the horn well and has room for mutes, etc., has square ends like the old King cases.
Will be shipped after a thorough cleaning with a dry slide.
I'll be listing more horns and cases. Need to start thinning the herd.
