I’ve got a benge 165F with a nice wide slide. Replaced the benge crook with a 70s bach 42 crook and it completely livened the horn up. Really opened up the horn and now plays very broad and slots much better. This have a really nice big and warm sound, i really like using it on 3rd part in a wind ensemble when my bass feels too heavy.
