Up for sale is my Shires Bass Bell, has some acid bleed as photographed but otherwise in great shape. Very direct sound and plays pretty evenly throughout the range. It makes me sad to part with it but my playing style has changed and I need some funding for a new project.
$650, buyer pays shipping within the CONUS only.

What effect does the A4 have? And what is the bell weight?

I bought this bell used so I can't give a specific answer to the annealing treatment (I've really tried!) but I'd guess the bell weight is of a standard medium weight.

I found this in a search from a Ben Griffin Shires Q and A from about 10 years ago.
"- A5, A1, A4: These are varying annealing treatments. Annealing our bells can add some color but the bells often loose some stability, so they usually only work for strong players with strong personalities. "
