Some lacquer wear on tuning slides, a few scratches here and there but excellent condition for a 60+ year old instrument. No plating wear on valves and I am not seeing any signs of previous trauma that has been fixed. Includes original case and mouthpiece.

Brass Exchange had a similar aged one in worse condition without original case or mouthpiece that they sold for $2,500. I'll take $2,000 + shipping

Wow! I bought one that looks just like this one about a year ago. This is a great playing bass trumpet. I feel lucky… I got a great deal on mine… whoever gets this will love it.

I picked one of these up a few years ago. A little beat up, and a lot of lacquer wear, but a great deal. I had Chris Cromer at A Minor Tune Up install a main tuning slide "trigger" (actually he cut the slide and put in a ring so I can adjust it on any note).

Interesting! I've seen the tuning triggers added to Bach bass trumpets that have more space to make those kind of changes but have not seen a similar modification on a Holton.
