This is a bit of a long shot but does anyone have a valve + tubing laying around, perhaps taken off a horn converted to straight?

I have a complete F attachment (valve + tubing) off of a 70's 3B/F, the rotor needs some work and is missing the lever, linkage and bumper plate but the tubing is all there and is in pretty good shape. If I'm not mistaken, the tubing is the same size as the 607F/608F. I can also throw in an extra rotor core and bearing plate. Shoot me an email if you're interested.

They are different. Later horns have much larger valves.

I have a 607F valve FS. Missing the smaller crook and the stop arm plate though. I can get details later today if you are interested

I have a valve and tubing for the old 70's 4B. Is the 3B valve tubing smaller diameter than .525?

That could be interesting, could you pm me the details?
I’m thinking about having it out onto a 3B+

My memory on the history of the 4B is sketchy. I remember the early 4B's that just said 'King' and no more on them had quite small valves (I think the shoulder pipe was slightly bent too and I think the bore was small too on the F tubing?). Later models that said 4B followed by other numbers (2104?) had much larger valves (and were prone to bending the tube coming out of the valve?). Is that as much as I need to know - I'm sure there is a history lesson for me here on King 4B valves. Anyone care to educate me? (Please)... Doug

If you’re still looking I have a Besson 737 bell section w rotor. It’s an exact copy of the 3b , 607/608 trigger section and is a .525 bore horn

Does it fit a 3B+/607/608 tenon? If so, I might be interested

Yes it’s the same tenon and was thinking I actually bought a 607/608. The valve section has the dual tuning slides and the bell socket is only threads. I have the complete horn, but was thinking about using the bottom slide outer tube to repair a selmer bolero horn I have. I can email you some pics
